Matthew Commons

Chief Executive Officer

         

Matthew is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for applying advanced technologies to new fields. He studied blockchain data structures for several years through think-tank and academic programs, with a focus on strategic implications of blockchain technology for businesses. Previously, he served as the founding CFO and Managing Director of venture-backed energy technology company Ogin, where he raised over $150 million of capital and launched the company’s international expansion. His work experience includes corporate finance, business development, strategy consulting, commodities trading and private equity investments.

Alex Oberhauser

Chief Technology Officer

              

Alex is an experienced blockchain engineer, with a focus on enterprise-grade blockchain data structures, specifications, protocols and software. Alex is the primary designer and developer of a novel blockchain ecosystem approach, for enterprises.

Previously, he initiated two blockchain-related research programs at the VU Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam. Alex is currently kickstarting an EU-funded blockchain research project as part of an international consortium.

Alok Bhargava

Chief Operating Officer

         

Alok is an accomplished technology executive with broad experience in strategy, product development and corporate finance. Before his current role, he worked at Ogin Inc., an energy technology startup, leading finance, market and corporate strategy. In his career in the telecommunications industry, he led market development and product strategy, system design and architecture, and software development for complex distributed systems, at noted companies such as Sycamore Networks and Motorola. Alok holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
